What is Green Card Day/Orange Card Day??
The Green and Orange Card Workouts are two separate workouts that we repeat every other month. They are part of the boxing class that day, and you do not need to do anything in advance for them. The workout section is printed on a green or orange card (hence the name), and you will write down the date and your workout scores on the card. This is a great way to track your progress or challenge yourself. We usually post the dates for these on our Member Board at the gym and in our newsletter, as many members like to try and get to these classes.
What is a Form Check?
Members have the option to do Form Checks up to twice a year! You can simply take a video of yourself boxing (:30-:90), and send it in to Coach Jessie at CUWBmembership@gmail.com. She will review the video and send back comments and tips on things you can do to improve form or progress with your boxing skills.
We recommend covering these items in the video:
- 1s & 2s
- 3s & 4s
- 5s & 6s
- 1,2,3,4,5,6
- plus footwork, body shots, or defense moves if you would like.
*Be sure to follow gym policies on photos and videos in the gym if you take the video at CUWB.
Where can I order CU Women's Boxing clothing?!
Right here!
My friend is signed up for an Intro Class - can I join them?
Absolutely! We love having workout buddies and encourage members to attend an Intro class with their friend if they'd like. You do not need to sign up for the intro as a member, just give the coach a heads up that you plan to be there.
